Audience theories
Hyper-dermic needle theory influences the audience to emulate what is happening in the film for example, the main character may be seen as a role model. This theory could have a negative impact on our target audience as the content in our film is seen as illegal therefore, we do not want our audience being influenced by what happens in the film.
Gratifications theory is where people seek out media to satisfy their needs, once again we do not want our audience watching this for any of the wrong reason but purely for their own entertainment.
Our film can warn the audience/ viewer that what is carried out in the film is illegal and that there are consequences for the main characters actions in hope that the only thing they take away from the film is the dangers of some of the illegal activity within the film.
